We build the sampler tools we wished existed.
Hliuma LLC is an independent studio focused on browser-native audio tooling. Our first product, Xampler, turns a folder of recordings into a playable instrument that drops straight into the engine your hardware actually speaks — without uploading your audio, without installing a thing.
Three principles. No compromises.
Your samples, not ours.
Pitch detection runs locally on your CPU. The in-house loop finder streams raw PCM for one note at a time to a Germany-based server, finds the loop in memory, returns coordinates only. Nothing is written to disk — yours or ours.
Built for the engines that ship inside real keyboards.
Per-channel stereo loop points. SF2 stereo pairs that don't collapse on PA-series arrangers. KMP / KSF with byte-accurate chunk layout. Tested against the spec, not against a heuristic.
From a folder of WAVs to a playable instrument in five minutes.
Drag, detect, audition, export. No round-trip to a desktop DAW, no plugin install, no proprietary project file you have to babysit forever.
The toolset, plainly.
- AI pitch detection
Ensemble of four algorithms — three classical, one neural. Robust across piano, strings, brass, guitar.
- 5+3 loop algorithms
Five next-generation finders for multisamples, three for drum slices. Engineered in-house, not stock library.
- Crossfade editor
Draggable region with zero-crossing snap. Per-channel on stereo so L and R stay independent.
- Hardware export
SFZ, SF2, KMP/KSF, WAV with SMPL loop chunks. Names follow each format's convention.
- MIDI controller preview
Plug a USB controller, play the keyboard before export. Works in Chrome and Edge.
- Non-destructive .hli
Project file keeps your samples intact. Toggle normalize, re-run loop finder, re-export forever.
